Nottingham Road
This house is on Nottingham Road, almost opposite Rowney's Twitchel, which continues as a footpath up to and across Gravel Pit allotments, now a playground, to Joey's Pansion, where it branches to the let to Moult Avenue and Sitwell Street, or straight on across the playing field to Birches inTwitchel and the centre of the village. In one of the fields on this footpaththere were a lot of herbs, and always a corncrake to be heard.
Later it was a day nursery.
