Spondon Hall, Lodge Lane, built c. 1785, demolished 1950s; now Priestland Avenue, Gascoigne Drive, etc. Once home of Wilmot family, later Cox's, then Sir Henry Fowler. Used as Office Training Centre in World War II.

Just to let you know the hall
Just to let you know the hall wasn't demolished in the 1950s as I had ballet lessons there as a small child. I think it was demolished in the late 60s/early 70s. I was born in 1962 and I would have been 5 or 6 when I did ballet which would then be 1967-1968.
