Memories: Russell Bostock was a terrific athlete, Richard Meads used to do a passable impression of a Dalek.
I think Russell played soccer
I think Russell played soccer for England schoolboys. I seem to recall Mr Houston making an announcement at assembly to that effect. A bit odd as the school had stopped playing soccer. He also played cricket at Lords for Elvaston in the final of the national village cricket competition in the mid-nineties. After education at Loughborough he became a PE teacher at Derby School.
