Remember the 'At table service' in the 'music hall' on a Friday and Saturday night?
Some good people frequented the Anglers over the years. And some not so geed.
When I travelled the country in the 1960's watching the Rams I would often get asked about the 'Anglers', and the 'Moon', by men that had been stationed around Derby and Nottingham, they would tell me about their times visiting Spondon for its two good pubs for squaddies.
