John Earnshaw says: This photograph is probably Spondon Women's(Afternoon)Institute and may have been taken at the Village Hall Garden in Sitwell Street. I recognised Kate Scholes(back row 5th from LHS) Nora Reinhard(back row 1st from LHS, My Gran Eugenie Brantwaite is on the back row with my Mother Ellen Earnshaw peeping through. Others include Mrs Arthur Thompson(formerly Locko Road), Mary Eaton I recognize quite a number but cannot remember all the names at present.
Possibility it is 1960 or earlier.
