The photograph of the class of children must have been taken later than 1900, because my mother is in it, 4th from the front on the first double row of girls. I have the original which belonged to my mother, and she was born in 1906. I remember her telling me that Alan Stevens was a classmate . He used to sell delicious ice creams and ice lollies in the village, in front of his shop. We lived at Gladstone House looking down Gladstone Road.
Lovely to see my Grandmother
Lovely to see my Grandmother on here, she went on to marry William Barton the butcher ( my Grand father )
