A copy of the Lord Chamberlains Command that my (John Earnshaw's) mother (with others as each would have been Commanded also) attended a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on 31st May 1965 to celebrate The W.I. Jubilee.

My mother was secretary and
My mother was secretary and then president of Spondon WI and also attended a Garden Party. I'm not sure if it was 1965. If I remember rightly Mrs Earnshaw was a dinner lady at Asterdale School. I was in the first intake.
