Mr and Mrs Stanley Lewty and family lived in this house until about the 1960s. Mrs Lewty was superintendent of the Wartime Hospital in Church Street. Mr Stanley Lewty's father was an estate agent in the 1800s. Opposite is the footpath to Joey's Panchion.
